Blind Spot Monitor / BSM,

Speed must be above 30 km/h to activate Totwinkel assistant. Often in city when driving in queues that's not case. I don't find it useful if you first have to check your speed. The car is eyecatcher and really beautiful to drive but there is so much inside that should have been better in 50k€ car. Camera is from year 2000, software is slow, it takes minutes to awake after ignition, display quality is also below average, wireless phone charging is slow 2013 standard etc...

After last update, 2 months ago, my phone would disconnect and would be invisible to the system. I had to reset the system to factory settings and connect phone from the start. In addition I didn't notice anything new in update, only this problem.

This is not connected with winter but is a quirk. I'm using BT for internet connection for Tomtom connected services. Every now and then my Peugeot unthicks 'use for internet connection' box by itself, so I have to go to again to connectivity options menu to thick it again. Anybody having same issue or solution?

Yes, washer fluid sensor is really odd to be missed. I would also add wireless charger which is 1.1 standard from 2013 and screen resolution and responsiveness. It takes minutes to load after ignition.

I agree with that. The 508 cost almost twice as much as my last car and is much weaker and cheaper in many ways.

At least they could offer more color schemes, not only blue and copper

I updated firmware and navigation yesterday. It took more than hour with ignition on. I was wondering is there any list of new firmware features or I have to discover them by myself, since I actually don't see anything new?

I come from the Ford Mondeo Mk V and am very spoiled by this (adjustable in five levels). The system worked as it should.

With my 508 II I get a little tantrum almost every time because the sh *** thing just doesn't do what it's supposed to. If it only drips slightly, it wipes like crazy, with a little heavier rain it hardly wipes and in the tunnel where it is dry again, it gives itself a full can on the then dry window.

Furthermore, at stops at traffic lights / intersections, he does not calm down, or only rarely.

Again and again I have to "force" him to work with a short tipper.

The sensor above is normally clean and not fogged up.

My considerations would be new (Bosch Aerotwin a536s) wiper blades or to ask for a new installation of software ...

Am I alone with this really annoying problem?

and one more question at the end:

Is it possible to change the direction in which the wash water is sprayed?

In a nutshell: the automatic wiper is not the best.

I now largely do without it and in most cases use the interval position I.

For my taste, the automatic always wipes too nervously or too intensely / quickly. Especially when I'm at the traffic light

it becomes absurd. Here, savings were made at the wrong end, at least the possibility of manual fine-tuning would be desirable.

Incidentally, it's similarly lousy with the new C3. Had it already written elsewhere - the boss of my 'PSA temple' let it through

they are "not happy" with what PPE is currently installing in this area. In the DS4 (2012) and DS5 (2014) it was definitely a different quality.

I also came from Mondeo V and I'm very pleased with 508 wipers comparing to Mondeo. On Mondeo I had to wait and wait for sensor to detect rain, it was very slow although they were set on highest sensitivity level. Here, on other hand reactions are very fast, although it seems that it does stop at traffic lights, at least by my opinion. Only thing I miss is single wiping function. Actually to be honest, I had sensors on VW, Opel, Toyota, Ford... and was never quite happy with technology.

They've fixed it (as of now). As far as i can tell they've added some insulation (probably some self adhesive felt) to all parts and retight the screws.

Been to the shop around 3 or 4 times for this issue. two previous repair attempts failed or they're only successful for a few weeks. the last one was a complete disassemble of the glass and roof mechanic and as of now the issues are gone.

If you're suffering from the same issues as I have, you can simply check by moving the cloth backwards and then reach with your hand back into the roof until you reach a small metal strip. That's the part that caused the initial rattle

I have same problem with programming. It works perfectly with remote control, but programming is just not functioning, I tried it many times only to find cold and frozen car. If anybody solved a problem I would be very thankful
